"FANTASTIC spacious house. 13 of us aged from 9 months to 70 years old. Great for each bedroom to have its own bathrom and our teenagers enjoyed having some space to themselves.

We particularly enjoyed the kitchen; everything we could need for lovely meals around the kitchen table.

We can recommend Villa Positano (Italian restaurant) - staff were great, food really lovely, great atmosphere - and the Albert pub; we booked early for 13 of us for Sunday lunch - great food and service.

Paddleboarding on the Lake and a picnic on Saturday and a boat trip on Sunday :)

Ideal location for Bowness and Windermere while great if you want to go a little further afield.

We had a fantastic meal at the Lamplighter in Windermere on New Year's Eve. We also ventured to the Crafty Baa. Give them a try if you get the chance. Thanks and we hope all others enjoy their stay as much as we have."

"AS a family we have rented numerous houses with multiple bedrooms in defferent parts of the country for our holidays. The Boundary has topped them all in quality and appeal. The house has a lovely feel and gernerously sized rooms and aesthetically-pleasing decor. We lived mostly in the splendid kitchen with gorgeous table, great chairs and an impressive range of equipment. The use of slate in the kitchen and elsewhere was much admired, and every bedroom having its own bathroom is exceptionally convenient. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding first-class. The garden area was just right for 13 people to have lunch outside"

"WE were a family of 11 and 2 small dogs! 10 adults and a 7-month-old baby girl. I initially rang Steve (the owner) to enquire about the property. My family have been coming to The Lakes for past 12 years and each year our party is growing in numbers. The Boundary is a big house so you can come together or have your own space. We loved the kitchen as we all had breakfast and in the evening we played board games with lots of Prosecco! We look forward to our return visit."
